About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Network & Infrastructure division in the position of Maintenance Officer. We are seeking applications from trade qualified applicants with experience in maintenance who can monitor contractors in the delivery of minor repairs to facilities assets, emergency equipment, associated monitoring systems and building services across the PTA network. The incumbent will monitor and coordinate preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance to ensure completion and compliance to requirements.
About You
To be considered for this position you must have:
- A Trade Certificate with demonstrated experience working in multi-disciplinary maintenance and/or project deliveries.
- Proven experience supervising contractors in multi-disciplinary projects and maintenance activities.
- Very good knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations particularly in relation to safe work practices.
- Sound problem solving skills and an ability to use initiative.
- Ability to use relevant computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite, with a demonstrated capacity to maintain complete and accurate records.
There is one full-time, 12-month fixed term opportunity, available for an immediate start. Applicants must have a current Western Australian 'C' or 'C-A' Class Driver's Licence or equivalent.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months.
