Description:
Collaborate closely with the Sourcing and Categories Manager, contributing to the management of procurement and supply chain projects.
As a Category Lead, you will spearhead the efficient and effective delivery of sourcing and category management activities within our client's organisation. Your primary objective will be to ensure compliance, governance, and value delivery while managing key risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic procurement activities.
- Manage procurement pipeline and spend insights.
- Maintain procurement systems.
- Cultivate collaborative stakeholder relationships.
- Facilitate business-wide training on procurement processes.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Law, or related field.
- 8+ years professional experience within a commercial environment.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement systems.
- Understanding of procurement frameworks.
