The clientSince the early 90s, our client has been creating stunning retirement communities in premium locations, offering a wide choice of homes, facilities and services. They have consistent projects across NSW, QLD and SA – they are in a large growth period and are now looking for a Contract Administrator to join their construction team in Adelaide, reporting directly to the Head Of Construction.

Key responsibilities
- Procurement and administration of all contractor and supplier contracts within budgets and time frames, including assessing progress claims, VO’s and EOT claims.
- Work alongside project teams to prepare regular cost forecast, cash flows, and head contract progress claims.
- Preparation of scope of works for each subcontracted section of works.
- Sub-contract tender documentation & tender assessments.
- Assessment & processing of subcontractor payment claims, variations and supplier invoices.
- Management of the Head contract.
- Compliance and reporting.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Building, Construction Services or related experience, ideally in mid to large scale commercial construction, and multi-level apartment buildings.
- A minimum 5 years related experience in South Australia
- Proven record as a Contracts Administrator, working for a head construction contractor on projects over $15 million.
- Initiative and drive and excellent communication skills.
- Time management and great negotiation/ influencing skills will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in using construction software such as BuildTools, Primavera, Cheops or a similar CMS will be an advantage.
