Role Overview
Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for redesigning the information technology division through the knowledge and application of the latest developments and best practices in Generative AI research, tools, and techniques to drive continuous improvement within the organisation. The successful candidate will undertake a digital transformation of the traditional business models, processes, and operations to enhance efficiency, innovation, competitiveness, customer experience and meet the overall growing complex needs of the business. The role is also responsible for the overall cybersecurity of the organisation, developing and implementing comprehensive information security strategies as well as managing existing hardware to ensure technical efficiency and productivity.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
The successful candidate will be degree qualified and have proven experience in system integration and implementation and delivering IT solutions for small to medium businesses. Knowledge of platforms such as inventory management, CMS, Business Central, HR/Payroll Systems as well as experience implementing and managing outsourced contracts for IT services is mandatory for this position. The successful candidate should also have experience leading and working with remotely located end users and stakeholders, both international and domestic. Expertise in Generative AI methodologies, including GANs, VAEs and Transformers is highly advantageous.
