What does the job look like?
Join Linfox's Consumer and Healthcare Group as a HC Truck Driver! Your mission: Safely transport a variety of refrigerated goods from our central hub in Willawong, QLD, to retail spots across Brisbane and nearby areas. Glide behind the wheel of our automatic Volvo trucks, mastering different trailer types like tautliners and Chiller Pantechs, making up to 3 deliveries daily with precision. Occasional manual tasks might be part of the adventure. This role is a flexible ongoing position, Monday to Friday from 5am to 1pm. Key Responsibilities:
- Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
- Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
- Maneuvering of side curtains
- Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner
- Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
