About the Role:
In this rewarding role, the Aged Care Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to elderly residents within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care to residents based on their individual needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Monitor residents’ health conditions and promptly report any changes.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans.
- Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents’ care and progress.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.
- 6 months previous experience within a Residential Aged Care Facility (Australia)
- Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of aged care regulations and standards.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with the elderly.
