Casual work available in Cairns aged care facilities for Registered Nurse (RNs) Excellent Pay. Ongoing work available
Collar Group are currently hiring passionate Registered Nurses to join our aged care casual workforce in Cairns. Ad hoc & block contracts available.- Generous pay & penalty rates
- Ad hoc shifts & block shifts available
- Flexibility to work AM/PM/Nights & rotating rosters.
What will I be doing?
- Clinical care of residents in residential Aged Care facilities / retirement villages in Townsville
- Documentation of vital signs, medication administration and resident assessments
- Assisting with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition.
- Family and resident education
- Infection control and prevention
- Palliative care, restorative care and pain management
- Assisting in admission and easing the transition for residents and their families
- Liaising with residents’ family, doctors, and allied health professionals
What do I need to have?
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current AHPRA Registration in Australia as a RN
- COVID Vaccination (including at least one booster)
- Flu Vaccination
- First aid & CPR
- 6 months minimum full-time experience of working in Aged Care as an RN in Australia
- Current Police Check (under 12 months old)
- NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Clinical nurses, CNC's, CNS's care coordinators, care managers & clinical facility managers also encouraged to apply
