Title: Diesel Fitter
Reports to: Workshop Manager
Direct Reports: Nil
Purpose of the Role:
Provide effective mechanical service, repair, and maintenance of plant, equipment, and light vehicle fleet.
Ensure quality standards and compliance with specifications, budget, and schedule
Key Responsibilities/Outcomes:
Implement asset maintenance schedules to ensure effective utilization of company-owned plant and vehicles.
Ensure all repairs, service, and maintenance are performed to quality standards and compliance.
Coordinate repair and maintenance jobs according to schedule and expedite any emergency tasks.
Assist in maintaining required accreditations and comply with Integrated Management System policies.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical, and Electrical processes.
Strong customer service focus and proven management skills.
Effective planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
Trade Certificate in Heavy Plant and current Driver's License.
