Leading non bank lender requires Financial Accountant or Trust Accountant to join Financial Control team. CA or CPA. Securitisation sector focused.
A great opportunity exists for a Financial Accountant/Trust Accountant to join one of Australia's leading non bank lenders in home loans, Asset Finance and commercial financing.Offered as a 6 month contract role, this is a hands on position within Financial Control with a great chance to capitalise on your Financial Accounting experience and gain exposure to a more analytical role. Reporting to the Treasury Accounting Manager, you will be working with a highly talented and widely experienced team of Trust and Financial Accountants professionals. Centrally located and offering a competitive salary.
Your Responsibilities will include:
• Cash reconciliations and payments for key securitisation accounts
• Reconciling all expense and commissions and month end reporting
• Borrower loan payments and monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Reconciliation of bank transactions and operational requirements
Ideally looking for someone with a business/finance degree qualification and experience in a Financial Accounting role. Candidates with experience in securitisation or banking would be favourably looked upon. This role will enable you to showcase your strong excel and analytical skills. To succeed in this role you would be strong team player with a proven track record in treasury accounting and reporting.
Prefer candidate who is degree qualified and either CPA or CA
