We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to work exclusively in our Medico-Legal portfolio as a Functional Assessor . This role involves conducting Functional assessments as part of an Earning Capacity Assessment of injured persons in a medico-legal context, and would ideally suit an experienced clinician with the desire to complete assessment-only work. You will be responsible for:- Reviewing extensive documentation of each case
- Managing new referrals of one-off Functional Assessments
- Timely completion of detailed reports
- Working with internal stakeholders, colleagues and management team to ensure timely turnaround of reports for our clients
About You:
- Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist (with full AHPRA membership)
- Clinical experience (mandatory)
- Experience completing Functional Assessments and medico legal assessments (mandatory)
- Work Hab or PWPE training (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong clinical reasoning skills with the ability to articulate this in written reports
- Attention to detail and critical thinking
