Talented writer with a passion for storytelling required for a 3 month role within a NSW Government Department.

We are currently seeking a Features Writer/Article Writer to join our team as a Publications Assistant. In this role, you will provide production and editorial support to our Publications Coordinator, who oversees the management and publication of our monthly magazine.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

• Research and write feature and news stories, sub-editing and proofreading all copy, and maintaining quality control procedures
• Develop compelling content that effectively communicates corporate objectives
• Online publishing
• Traffic Management

We are looking for someone who can work effectively in both PC and Mac environments, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver high-quality journalistic products within tight deadlines. The ability to exercise sound judgement and identify critical issues is also essential.
