They specialise in commercial construction and commercial insurance repairs and have a large portfolio of works from $5M - $30M. With multiple new projects in NSW, this is a truly exciting, newly created role for someone to take the reins and be a part of their continued growth and success (40 years and counting!)
The Role:
This company has a strong presence across the Eastern seaboard and they have recently secured multiple new and exciting projects. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced PM to join the team and play a pivotal role in the companies expansion, be a part of their continued success and make a real impact!
As the PM, you will be working in an autonomous role, responsible for the delivery of a variety of commercial projects and starting on a $15M industrial project in Western Suburbs of Sydney.
- Overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial projects from $5M to $30M in value (factories, retail, warehouses, schools, aged care etc).
- Liaising with key stakeholders including customers, insurance company representatives, internal staff to ensure smooth operations
- Working closely with an experienced Site Manager and Foreman on your key projects
- Site visits approx once per week

About You:
- Proven experience delivering multiple commercial projects end-to-end upwards of $15M
- Detailed understanding of project management principles and the ability to communicate and implement these
- Insurance industry experience and a network you can lean on would be highly favourable but not essential!
- Positive, pro-active attitude and an interest in stepping into a management position as the team continues to grow
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to coordinate several priorities at once with a calm and professional approach
- Strong systems experience and reporting skills
- Ability to think laterally and problem solve issues
