The Company
Medium sized and privately owned civil specialist engineering design consultancy who have a friendly and supportive culture where employees are central to everything that they do. As they continue to grow, staff are growing with them and opportunities to further your career are plentiful.
They deliver a range of land development, urban development and road infrastructure projects from their fresh and modern offices in North Sydney and Western Sydney.
The Role
Due to the nature of the projects that they deliver, an important area of delivery lies within Sydney Water assets. They have an existing WSC team, but this is growing along with the business and so they require additional resources to deliver this key function of the company.
The Responsibilities
This is a key hire for the business so:
  • You will work closely with highly knowledgeable industry experts and so your development with a clear career path is guaranteed
  • Working within a wider WSC team, you will act as the single point of contact for your projects on all matters relevant to the developer works process with support offered as required
  • You will carry out the design and drafting of Sydney Water's assets
  • You will undertake catchment analysis utilising Sydney Water's flow schedule
  • You will liaise with Sydney Water's AIS and prepare FIFM's as well as preparing and submitting all Sydney Water applications.
The Requirements
To be considered for this rewarding career move you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Accredited with Sydney Water to a C1 or C2 level (C3 or C4 would be highly sought-after)
  • Knowledge of WSSA codes and Sydney Water’s Codes, Specifications, Polices and Guidelines
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and preferably 12D
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to manage client’s expectations and effectively coordinate with internal and external customers
