An exceptional opportunity awaits a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager in Disability Services to spearhead and expand our Newcastle portfolio. As a vital member of the national Client Experience Team, the role focuses on driving organisational excellence, ensuring the highest standards of client care and support, and leading a team of Client Experience Managers fostering a collaborative culture.

A Senior Manager Client Experience, SMCE for short, is a highly skilled and developed manager who demonstrates the ability to deliver on excellent client experience. They use effective growth planning to understand their client’s needs, combine this with the availability of their workforce, and deliver so in a complex funding environment.

Some of your Key Objectives:
  • Continue to deliver the best support and quality service for clients across the Central Coast and Hunter.
  • Develop strategies and initiatives to achieve high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Support your workforce of talented support workers, client experience leads and managers, with a strong focus on fostering positive relationships with clients, support and the community.
  • Identify and capitalise on opportunities to increase revenue whilst streamlining operations to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and monitor performance against objectives.
  • Collaborate on a responsive workforce plan that attracts, engages, and retains Support Workers, with a clear understanding Nextt’s vision and their role in delivering excellent client experience.
For success, we ask that you:
Have operated at a senior managerial level running multiple services, across numerous locations for people with disabilities. In addition to:
  • Being an engaging and collaborative leader, driving a high quality and supportive team culture of valuing people.
  • Commercially savvy with experience of managing $m portfolios.
  • Having a strong leadership and management background with at least 7 years’ experience.
  • Holding health or disability Sector knowledge and experience, NDIS a real bonus.
  • Results driven with a demonstrated ability to empower others.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and collaborative practice.
  • Tertiary qualification in health, disability or business management.
