Description:
The CompanyOur client is a long established Melbourne business that has grown to be one of Asia Pacific's largest privately owned companies, involving over 24,000 people across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. As stand-out leaders in their field, this iconic family run business has expanded enormously and diversified into various fields. The head-office on St Kilda Road has a contemporary, corporate feel and while it's a fast-paced, dynamic environment, the team is still very down to earth and relaxed, with a culture that values it's people, along with loyalty and stability.
The Role
After 12 years supporting the Executive Chairman, his EA is retiring and looking for her replacement. This is an integral, prestigious, senior role for a true career EA who likes to be one step ahead at all times, ensuring the smooth running of a demanding and often hectic schedule. The Chairman is highly sought after, sits on many Boards and has multiple customers, suppliers and government stakeholders, so his days are full of meetings, travel, events and conferences etc. With absolute confidentiality and diplomacy, you'll be the central point of contact, responsible for coordinating all aspects of his corporate, community and personal life. You'll have the help of a full team (including private chef, pilots, drivers and travel manager) and will liaise daily with them to prepare for and ensure the smooth running of meetings, regular travel, and high-level personal engagements and commitments.
Skills And Experience
We're looking for an experienced, polished and mature EA who has supported a similar senior level executive with business and personal commitments. You'll need to be in the office when the Chairman is in the office and willing to occasionally work between different locations, so flexibility is key, as is your ability to build relationships, work well with others and maintain strict confidentiality at all times. MS Office skills essential and knowledge of Xero highly regarded.
If this sounds like you and you're looking for a long-term career role, we'd love to hear from you asap... please forward your resume!
