Your Opportunity
The Senior Business Development Manager role is responsible for marketing Informatica's products and/or services by leveraging a multi-channel approach that consists of telephone, email, and LinkedIn - plus other tools - to engage new prospects and/or existing customers. This role is based in Sydney and covers Australia & New Zealand.
Your primary focus is to generate discovery meetings with prospects and customers which then convert to qualified opportunities which your allocated Field Sales teams drive to closure.
Specifically, this role supports strategic level top 50 to 100 accounts.
What You'll Do
- Works towards well-defined sales support objectives on a quarterly basis with an ability to quickly adapt based on results stemming from established processes and procedures for supporting the discovery and qualification of the company's solution opportunities
- Applies critical thinking to make recommendations in situations not covered by defined work parameters
- Collaborates well with others, in person and remotely, to achieve team or individual sales objectives
- Aspiration for growth distinguished by levels of sales proficiency and technical certification
- Effective internal and customer communication skills
Key Essentials
- 2-3 years experience in B2B or B2C software sales, Saas or Cloud organisations
- Previous business or sales development roles
- Preference for understanding data
- Familiarity with Salesforce, MS Office & LinkedIn Navigator
- BA/BS degree is preferred
