The CompanyOur client is a progressive mid-tier chartered accounting practice that provides a broad range of accounting, bookkeeping and financial services to a wide selection of clients including small, medium, large and internationally listed clients.
The Opportunity
This highly reputable accounting practice is seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Manager to manage the team and provide operational support to the Partners and Managers.
Joining a supportive and collaborative team your key responsibilities will include:
- Efficient and consistent running of practice operations and workflow
- Maintain knowledge of government legislation and regulations
- Assist in developing and maintaining business plans, performance measurements and staff reviews
- Complete performance and development reviews
- Assist with recruitment, induction and training of new and existing staff
- Ensure the practice is open for business and staffed at the appropriate times in line with client demand
- Development and maintenance of practice systems, software and processes
- Oversee maintenance of all office equipment
- Prepare and run office meetings and team building events
- Client Services
- Monitor generic practice email addresses and oversee Reception/Front of house functions
- Manage Accountant diaries and other bookings including client appointments
- Experience using XPM is highly desirable
- Experience in a similar role within public practice accounting or financial services
- Ability to devise and review systems and processes for efficiency
- Knowledge of employment conditions and relevant legislation
- Competence in decision making within areas of responsibility
