Pay: $40.49-$ $56.99 Per hour + super with yearly increases

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.
About Goodstart Morwell Central:
• Our 126-place centre opened in 2020 and offers a range of programs and services to provide a holistic support to children and families, including Kindergarten programs, long day care, playgroups and maternal child health services
• Partnered with the Department of Education and Our Place to provide integrated services to the community
• This role is for an ECT in our 3 year old kinder room – up to 33 places, co leading with another qualified ECT
• Our centre is purpose built offering seven aged based learning spaces including two kinder rooms
• We are conveniently located next to Morwell Central Primary School, there is an opportunity for this teacher to work in collaboration with the school supporting continuity of learning

You’ll need:
• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Hold active registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
