Reporting to the Construction Superintendents you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our blue-collar construction teams, whilst ensuring construction time frames are meet and in a safe manner.
Current projects consist are crusher upgrades and construction of new crushing roleDirect and support work crew to carry out works with compliance to all statutory requirements and comply with all relevant standards and codesManage and coordinate the day-to-day site activities and project schedules to ensure quality and construction timelineLead, manage and coordinate contractors, employees and subcontractors working on projectsOrganise and supervise the placements of material, plant and equipment required for site worksActively promote and support Project Environmental, QA, OH&S and Company policiesTravel to various work fronts when required and directedCompliance with all Safety Rules and Procedures to ensure all work is undertaken in a safe manner at all times and participation in any Safety or Training initiatives identified and implemented by the Company and / or the PrincipalCare and maintenance of all Personal Protective Equipment supplied by the Company for safe performance of the jobCare and maintenance of any tools or equipment provided to assist with your performance of given tasksMonitor the skills and performance of electrical resources and provide advice, training and direction to ensure the team is meeting all necessary performance objectives What you’ll bring to the teamMinimum 5+ years demonstrated previous experience within a SMP Construction environmentMinimum 2+ years’ experience in a Leadership Position within the Mining Construction IndustryC Class Driver’s LicenseCurrent Senior First Aid CertificateSection 44And then there’s the extra benefitsWe look after our people because they’re the ones looking after our business.
