About the Opportunity

We are looking for someone with drive and initiative to develop the Support Coordination/Recovery Coaching footprint in a growing region.

As our Support Coordinator/Recovery Coach you will be responsible for the delivery of NDIS funded provision of Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching services. In this role you will support participants to understand all aspects of their NDIS plan, as well as assist participants to navigate the NDIS provider network, sourcing & implementing the required services and supports to facilitate progression towards achieving their goals.

Use your love of communication to network with other government, community & mainstream services to refer your participants, promote Wellways NDIS services and increase new participant referrals in your region.

What will your day look like? A typical day in this role you will be creating access to supports for the participants, monitoring plan budgets & support effectiveness and designing creative and innovative approaches to encourage individual skills development.

What do you need?

  • Minimum Qualification in Certificate 4 in Mental Health, Disability services and/or 2yrs+ of lived or work experience in mental health/psychosocial disability.
  • Expertise across a diversity of disability types, including psychosocial disability and recovery-oriented practice
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • A current valid Driver's License
  • National Police Records Check [less than 12 months old]
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check, prior to commencement is mandatory
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate - free online course
