The CFA is on the brink of a significant transformation journey, utilising SAP S/4HANA to enhance efficiency and foster innovation. Amid this transition, we are in search of a proactive and seasoned SAP S/4HANA Program Manager to join the team located in Burwood. This position presents an opportunity for you to take on a crucial leadership role, influencing the organisation's trajectory by introducing state-of-the-art technological solutions.
Role Overview:
As the SAP S/4HANA Program Manager, you will bring a wealth of SAP experience and expertise to the table, having been involved in at least one full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation/upgrade project during your career. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the design and functionality of the new solution, with a focus on maintaining standardisation wherever possible. You will manage an internal team and collaborate closely with our chosen SI vendor, who will be tasked with delivering the solution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be involved in making strategic decisions around how to deliver this transformation including evaluating all available options including SAP RISE.
* Lead and oversee the SAP S/4HANA implementation/upgrade project from initiation to completion.
* Make strategic decisions regarding the design and functionality of the new solution, with a focus on standardisation.
* Manage an internal project team, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
* Working closely with SAP to derive an optimal solution for the ongoing support of the transformation
* Take ownership of the project budget, making key financial decisions to ensure its successful delivery.
* Collaborate closely with the project steering committee, including the CIO and CFO, providing regular updates and insights into project progress and challenges.
* Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may arise during the implementation process.
* Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure buy-in from all levels of the organisation.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in SAP implementation and project management, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA.
* Proven track record of leading at least one full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation/upgrade project.
* Strong understanding of SAP best practices and principles, with the ability to make informed decisions around design and functionality.
* Extensive experience being involved in steering committee meetings and dealing with C-level executive.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards project success.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and key stakeholders.
* Solid financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets and making key financial decisions.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
* Relevant certifications in SAP and project management would be advantageous.
