ABOUT THE RO LE: Community Engagement Coordinator Home Care

Summary of the role: The primary responsibility of the Community Engagement Coordinator Home Care is to promote the Mercy Health brand and build and strengthen relationships with key referral networks. The Community Engagement Coordinator Home Care will report directly to the General Manager Client Services as well as working closely with the General Manager Home Care as well as the Regional Managers Home Care and the marketing team to ensure that business development opportunities align with current marketing campaigns.

  • Full time position- 76 hours/ fortnight
  • Varied locations including Richmond Head Office, Hughesdale Support Office and regional sites.
  • The primary responsibility of the Community Engagement Coordinator Home Care is to promote the Mercy Health brand and build and strengthen relationships with key referral networks. Work with Home Care to plan and implement strategic and targeted business development, assist with the achievement of Mercy Health’s intake rates to support delivery of financial targets
    and to seek out new opportunities to work with referral networks to increase Mercy Health visibility.

ABOUT YOU:

    • Deep understanding of the sales journey for aged care consumers.
    • High level of personal drive, integrity and initiative.
    • Working knowledge of Aged Care Enquiry to Admission Process.
    • Working knowledge of Home Care services.
    • Proficient communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to build a referral network from the ground up by building and maintaining relationships.
    • Must have a driver’s license - this role will require daily travel and possible interstate travel.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.
  • Provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks subject to current legislation).
  • Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).

Employment with Mercy Health is subject to satisfactory background checks which can include Police Record Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
