Description:
ASX Listed, high profile organisation, with an engaged finance team, looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to support during a period of maternity leave.
Your Opportunity
Commencing asap for a handover, you will provide AR support to this team by reviewing orders awaiting payment (via SAP and Excel) and liaising on a daily basis with internal sales teams to follow up held orders and overdue payments. You will review rebate requests and follow up on outstanding information.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will additionally support the Credit/AR team with various ad hoc duties and reporting, and ensure best practice in your day to day responsibilities.
Your Profile
You are an experienced professional with a solid understanding of accounts receivable and debits/credits. You have excellent communication skills to build relationships internally and externally and to manage the process effectively. Of course you bring strong technical accounts receivable skills and can work independently with a service and team focused approach. Experience with rebates will be highly regarded.
Flexibility and a problem solving approach is key to success in this organisation - this role requires someone with initiative, and with proven examples of managing high workloads and creative thinking.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and vLookUps) are essential and SAP experience is highly desirable . You will have recent experience in a large, complex environment and can hit the ground running in this contract role.
Your Benefits
This is a contract role to cover an maternity leave period and will commence asap for a handover, so you will need to be available on short notice. Paying between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum plus super, you will appreciate the commitment of a 12 month fixed term contract and enjoy the benefits including a hybrid work environment, annual and sick leave (and other appropriate leave entitlements).
You must have working rights to be able to fulfil a 12 month month contract.
