Microsoft Power Platforms onsite architect will be a single point of responsibility for all Power Platform projects that are executed through the Center of Excellence. This requires a candidate with extensive experience in Architect, Design, Development, and Implementation of complex and scalable enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Location: Sydney

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The PowerApps Onsite Architect is the single point of responsibility for Microsoft Power Platform projects that are executed through the Center of Excellence (CoE). They will interface with the Microsoft practice, Clients, and project teams.

  • Provides technical expertise, direction, and leadership to the technical team for a project.

  • Ensure all components of the technical architecture are properly integrated and implemented.

  • Leads team in the building of Power Platform solutions that meets requirements.

  • Define the PowerApps development tools and environments.

  • Responsible for end-to-end technical assurance, technical governance, technical best practices, the reuse of technical assets, and the assignment of technical work. Responsible for technical direction of the project

  • Mentors and coaches PowerApps developers and team members

  • Day-to-day management of the technical teams, working closely with the Program/Project Managers to provide information around scheduling, risks, issues, changes, etc.

  • Provide technical subject matter expertise for the technical delivery processes and implementation. This may include, but is not limited to, informal meetings with team members on technical strategy of project; attendance at status meetings with customer entities as requested: review and involvement in all technical work product reviews.

  • Work with other client technical architects to ensure the technology is being applied to meet the business objectives (Applications Architect, Data Architect, etc.)

  • Collaborate with the Configuration Management Specialist to define configuration management processes and procedures for configuration items (code, configuration settings, etc.

  • Participate in Work Product Reviews as referenced in the Project Quality Plan

  • Will support new pursuits and business and asked to validate estimates.

  • To gain the customer confidence on the technology landscape and this will help to us in longer run.

Essential:

  • Masters in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.


Preferred:

PowerApps, Power Automate, CDS/Dataverse, MS Data Gateway, SharePoint Online, Azure Integration services.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.

  • Additional skills like C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, HTML, CSS, Web Services, PowerShell, PL/SQL
