Your Opportunity This role will build strong positive relationships with our clients and deliver personal care and assistance to meet their individual clinical and lifestyle needs. Permanent Part time shifts are: Thursday and Friday Morning Shifts – starting at 6:30 am Permanent Full time shifts: Monday to Wednesday afternoon shifts; starting at 2:30 pm and Thursday and Friday morning shifts starting at 6:30 am Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide personal care and support to our aged residents
- Assist with various activities of daily living
- Administer medication to residents from Webster packs
- Document all progress notes and keep accurate records
- Observe the condition/health/wellbeing of residents, reporting any concerns to the RN/CNS
Requirements for Success
- Experience in aged care or working with clients with challenging behaviours and/or mental health issues
- Ability to work independently and also be able to work in a team
- Hold a Certificate IV in Aged Care (Medication Administration) or higher
- A certificate in Mental Health would be high regarded but is not essential
- Understanding of WHS and infection control principles
- Possess well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- First aid certificate (desirable)
- Mandatory Flu and Covid vaccination
- NDIS Workers Screen clearance (or the willingness to obtain one)
