We have an incredible opportunity for a motivated and talented Mechanical Fitter to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Perth. Â
This is a hands-on customer service position, ideal for a self-motivated and customer-focused individual. You'll play a vital role in providing 24/7 national support, covering contract repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Perth region.
Hours of Work : this position will require participation in an on-call roster and due to production constraints with some customers - will require availability to work overtime on weekends and public holidays as needed.
Tasks and Qualifications:SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:
Will Possess The Following Qualifications & Experience
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualifications
- Restricted Electrical licence, or âAâ Grade Electrical License would be highly advantageous
- PLC experience with Siemens S7 and/or Scada WIN CC
- Experience within automation environments (particularly conveyors) and material handling equipment would be a strong advantage
- Experience with computerised maintenance systems (such as; MEX, Maximo, SAP)
- Experience with pneumatic systems and components
- Experience with hydraulic systems and components
- Maintenance experience within high speed production facilities, including exposure to; welding repairs, machining, repair and replacement of electro-mechanical components
- Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results driven
- Strong customer focus and attention to detail with all tasks
- Strong understanding of OHS requirements and adopt safe work practices
- Current driverâs license
- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
- The ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships
