About the Role:
As a Physiotherapist at their Day Therapy Centre, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to older individuals within the community, including those residing in retirement villages. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of their clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including wellness and re-enablement reviews for clients.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate preventive and therapeutic care programs, both individually and in group settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care plans and therapeutic interventions.
- Regularly update care plans based on client feedback and changes in circumstances.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, families, medical professionals, and external agencies.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working with older individuals.
- Familiarity with community services programs, particularly CHSP, is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Proof of current Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations or willingness to obtain them.
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Recent police check (within 6 months) with full disclosure for unsupervised vulnerable people.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
