Excellent opportunities are available for enthusiastic and motivated Scrub Scout Senior Registered Nurses to join the Perioperative department at a private hospital in Adelaide. There are permanent Full-Time and Part-Time roles available.ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring patient and staff safety, supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, and providing patient education and support.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance;
- Extensive experience as a Scrub Scout Registered Nurse;
- Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures;
- Ability to manage risk;
- Sound knowledge of Peri-Operative standards;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills;
- Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands.

ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in Adelaide, is a private, not-for-profit 230-bed facility that performs a broad range of surgical, medical, diagnostic, and interventional procedures supported by on-site medical imaging, radiology and pathology. The hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services, and a 24-bed level 3 critical care unit.
