About the Opportunity

As a part of our amazing Allied Health team, you will be exercising significant clinical judgement whilst providing superior service to our clients. You will assist older people to maximise their independence and quality of life through the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services, which are aligned with the philosophy and values of Alwyndor Aged Care, government guidelines, and professional standards and ethics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide podiatry services to our clients in the community and onsite in our clinic.
  • Deliver high quality allied health assessment and ongoing services for our clients in the community
  • Assess and diagnose existing and new conditions to provide individually tailored Podiatrist treatment plans.
  • Support new mobile allied health program
  • Full day of driving, visiting clients in home around south metropolitan region using Alwyndor vehicle, all tools and equipment provided.
  • Working in community clinic on site
  • Maintain client documentation, adhering to clinic and regulatory standards

About You

We are inviting applications from individuals with appropriate qualifications, you must have a current AHPRA registration and have a passion for working with older people. Prior experience working in an aged care setting, whilst not required, will be highly regarded.

  • A recognised degree or equivalent in Podiatry
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, passionate about delivering quality services in aged care
  • Passionate about building strength and confidence with our clients to help them achieve their goals
  • Up to date Influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate and undergo a functional assessment before commencing employment.
