About the role:
We are seeking a Registered or Enrolled Practice Nurse for a fixed-term (6 months) full-time position, 38 hours per week. The role will be split across two clinics: McIntyre Medical Centre and Para Hills Clinic. We are seeking a candidatewho is focused on providing the highest quality experience for our patients whilst working within their scope of clinical practice under the direction and delegation of our Registered Nurses. The role completes care plans and assessments to manage the patient’s health care recovery to meet their overall health goals.
Upon commencement you will receive a dedicated training program that includes a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and colleagues. We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to provide consistent and quality care to our patients at the highest level.
About you:
- Current unrestricted Registered/Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA.
- Experience in General Practice, Immunization, Occupational Health, Chronic Disease Management or Antenatal Care (highly regarded).
- Experience in Best Practice software (not essential).
- Intermediate computer knowledge and skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work autonomously, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to advocate for the patient and use coaching techniques to assist them to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviours.
- A willingness to drive the chronic disease program at our practice under the guidance of the Practice Manager.
- Commitment to best practice, ethical behaviour and conduct.
