This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, self driven individual to join the Showpo team as our Assistant Buyer.
Your role will be to work closely with our senior buyer and the rest of the team to ensure that operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the raising of PO numbers, coordinating with suppliers, handling sample requests, and various other administrative tasks. We're looking for someone who's eager to learn, loves connecting the dots, and has a genuine interest in fashion.
Day to day, you will:
- Oversee PO raising task for all buying orders from ensuring orders are raised on time to following up on all buying orders;
- Regular supplier communications on behalf of the buying team with regards to orders eg. delivery dates and cost price confirmation;
- Maintenance of regular reports with distribution to the buying team;
- Assist the buying team in all go live planning management including PO tracking and campaign management;
- Assist the buying team with product presentations by collating product, creating templates and meeting set up;
- Assist the buying team with general admin tasks including but not limited to MD’s, edit management, sample requests;
- Support senior buying team member/s with additional admin tasks including RPN planning and flow doc maintenance
- General office admin duties where needed.

- 1-2 years Admin experience within the fashion industry.
- Ability to maintain a polite and professional demeanour at all times
- Be calm under pressure, able to prioritise multiple deadlines and request guidance from the Senior Buyer when needed
- Demonstrate a mature outlook to work autonomously, take on feedback willingly and be flexible enough to thrive in a fast moving environment
