Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome , far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools.
Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa. We are seeking to appoint 4 experienced Restaurant Supervisors.
This position will require you to have a highly visible presence and hands-on approach during service periods. The key duties and responsibilities of this position include : Managing staff to ensure restaurant service levels are consistent and of the highest possible standard Serve food and beverage, undertake outlet set up and pack down tasks Stock rotation and ordering, including a monthly stocktake Process food and beverage orders and financial transactions using POS system Promptly address customer concerns Product knowledge is an essential part of this role Monitoring the restaurant budget, including completing detailed reporting on the same Driving revenue by ensuring maximum covers per service period Roster preparation and approval of timesheets in accordance with resort processes Working closely with the Kitchen and other resort departments Ensuring the restaurant and staff is always presented to resort standards Assist in the Restaurant Manager with menu and wine list creation The required skills, experience and attributes for this position include Previous experience in a Hotel / Resort environment Hold a current WA Liquor License, or the ability to obtain one High level of personal presentation and grooming Strong verbal and written English language skills Have a professional, friendly and engaging personality Formal qualifications in Hospitality, Training Small Groups, Management or Supervision and / or Health and Safety Standards an advantage What's on offer : Competitive industry salary $68,715.
