Pay: $40.49-$ $56.99 Per hour + super with yearly increases

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.
About Goodstart Preston Dalgety Street and the role:
• We are a 122-place centre located in Preston near to shops, local amenities, and public transport
• Our purpose-built centre features six large and spacious learning spaces over two levels and provides a modern yet home-like naturally inspired environment
• Our outside areas have sensory gardens, creek beds, digging patches and a veggie garden, as well as an outdoor dining hub
• ECT to run our 3 y/o kinder room - 22 place room
• Experience running a room is essential, either as an ECT or Senior Educator (if newly qualified)

You’ll need:
• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Hold active registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
