We are seeking a temporary full-time Project Officer to work within Customer Engagement for a period up to 6 months, unless otherwise determined. As the Project Officer you will contribute to the achievement of the department's organisational objectives by the completion of allocated projects and providing administrative support to a project team or teams.About Us

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Review project outcomes on an ongoing basis and adjust for contingencies to maintain client driven project requirements.
- Within given research goals, assist in the conduct of research on issues associated with the allocated projects including the collection, collation and analysis of information.
- Prepare and write proposals, expressions of interest, contracts, reports, spreadsheets, planning documentation and other correspondence utilising a range of computer software packages.
- Undertake processes and provide advice on human resource management, ensure adherence to relevant Awards, Regulations and departmental delegations, policies and procedures.
- Sound knowledge, or the capacity to acquire a sound knowledge, of current strategic issues pertaining to the direction of information and communication technologies and relevant policies within a complex educational environment.
- Demonstrated skills in the use of project management tools and their application and demonstrated ability to support the administration of entire project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a high performing team in a complex operating environment.
- Shows initiative and applies planning, analytical and conceptual skills in order to identify problems and progress the achievement of project and team objectives.
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral) including demonstrated ability to participate in and support liaison, consultation and negotiation with diverse client groups both internally and with external agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to research, develop and maintain processes to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.
