About the role
As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at PSVCAC you will be responsible for the delivery of care and services to consumers in all areas of activities of daily living in accordance with their identified needs and preferences. You will provide support in line with the consumers physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs enabling them to maintain their own well-being and independence for as long as possible.
In order to be considered for these opportunities you must meet the following criteria;
Essential:
- Certificate III Individual Support – Ageing or equivalent.
- NDIS Worker Check
- Demonstrated ability to work to required consumer outcomes.
- An ability to work as an individual or within a team environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to document consumer information accurately.
