Description:
A fantastic opportunity exists for a talented Financial Controller to join a high-performing team. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage a small team and have a broad and diverse range of responsibilities, including:- Overseeing the day-to-day general accounting functions.
- Managing all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly board reporting and annual financial statements.
- Coordinating and overseeing the preparation of audited financial statements and regulatory filings in both Australia and Singapore.
- Working closely with the CFO to develop cash flow forecasts and support commercial decision-making.
- Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
- Developing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Monitoring cash flow, liquidity and treasury to optimise financial performance.
- Collaborating with other departments to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
About the role
Skills and experience we are ideally looking for:
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Proven experience in a financial leadership role within a blue-chip corporate.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
Other skills and experience that would be ideal but are not essential:
- Experience within an ASX-listed environment is a definite advantage.
- Interest in/knowledge of the Crypto industry.
- Previous experience within Fintech or financial services.
