The Division of Research & Enterprise at UNSW is responsible for the strategic research direction and overall research performance of the University, maintaining and advancing the University's profile in research and research training.
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-level reporting and technical services related to research administration. This encompasses areas such as research grants, higher degree research, and research ethics. Your project management expertise will facilitate the implementation of quality reporting solutions and ensuring efficient delivery of core processes and reporting related to research administration.
The Senior Reporting Analyst reports to the Deputy Director of Research Analysis, Data and Reporting, and may have direct reports.
The Organisation
Research Analysis, Data and Reporting (RADAR) is a dedicated unit established to support the goal of continuously improving UNSW’s position as a leading research-intensive university in Australia. It is responsible for reporting on the University’s research activity and performance, its position in national and international university rankings, ensuring strong performance in research engagement and impact, developing, enhancing, and maintaining the Division’s research metric tool ‘BORIS’, and providing divisional support for research applications together with business improvement and integration services to ensure all systems are effectively meeting business requirements.

Who you are
You can demonstrate your relevant education and or experience, as well as: -
- Reporting off relational databases utilising relevant tools and software including (SQL and Excel).
- Excellent communication and organisation skills with a high attention to detail and commitment to proactively deliver essential services to a high standard.
- High-level of conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into effective reporting solutions for a broad range of stakeholders.
