Why Your Role Matters:
This is a dynamic position in the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor Student Success (PVCSS) working together with the team to ensure all services are provided efficiently to meet the operating needs of the portfolio. The position will provide effective day-to-day administrative support for the Office of the PVCSS in the delivery of services, initiatives and related events and in contribution to relevant portfolio activities, programs and projects.
Who You Are:
Our ideal candidate will be digitally savvy, with a keen interest in reporting and data. While prior knowledge of Power BI is desirable, it's not essential. We're seeking someone who thrives in an agile environment and is a fast learner, capable of adapting to new tools and technologies with ease. The ability to support our team, including senior staff is crucial.
• Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
• Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
• Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
• Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications. P rior knowledge and/or use of Power BI is desirable.
• Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
• Advanced numeracy skills.
• An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
