Description:
A full time Asset Finance Assistant Broker position has become available within our CBD office. A diverse role, you will be responsible for a number of general administrative & finance duties, as well as providing direct assistance to the Finance Broker. This role will be a key part of the Mortgage Team working on highly diverse topics across the Mortgage value chain. Every day will be different and your contribution will be important to complete the clients' settlements.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Attending to phone calls from lending institutions, lawyers, external suppliers and clients
- Assisting Clients with credit applications and the documents requested
- Incoming & Outgoing Mail including client emails, letters & collation of application documents
- Sound understanding of asset finance process and variety of asset finance products
- Clients meeting, applications management and follow ups through all stages of the finance application
- Collaboration with accountants, credit risk, operations & product colleagues to develop & place clients applications with suitable financiers
- Office Filing (including paperless)
- Ability to build new relationships and motivated to win new leads from warm leads.
- Desire to learn & know financier credit policies to assist the clients with the suitable possible solution
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- 1+ years of Asset or Mortgage finance experience
- Must obtain or near complete a finance degree or similar qualification
- Friendly & outgoing nature with a “Can do” attitude
- Be able to work autonomously
- Excellent organisation skills
- Well- developed verbal & interpersonal communication abilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Experience (Outlook, Work & Excel essential)
- Must be eligible to work in Australia on full-time basis, we do not currently offer sponsorship for this role.

Remuneration is commensurate with experience.
