We are currently looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join us on Part time / Casual basis at our Plumpton Villa -Glenroy home.

About your role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will work in a team environment, but also be able to operate alone and proactively. You will be on our frontline with our residents – which can be challenging, but is also rewarding when achieving positive outcomes for our residents. As an RN, you will be responsible for ensuring our residents well-being and delivering care to the highest standard. We are committed to our residents and our employees, and encourage our staff to commit to working safely within their teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Co-ordinate professional care practices according to individual care plans and documented policies and procedures
  • Safe administration of medication
  • Maintaining clinical documentation
  • Adhere to national standards and legal requirements
  • Engage with residents on a daily basis

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience and best practice from previous Nursing roles within Australia (and Aged Health Care)
  • A genuine interest in elderly care and the desire to improve the lives of our residents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and supervise others, as well as to engage with our residents
  • Knowledge of computerized nursing care plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of ACFI documentation
  • Ability to work across various shifts - AM/PM & Night Shifts.

Essential Requirements:

  • NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Police check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Proof of Work rights in Australia
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose)
  • Proof of Flu vaccination (current year)
