ABOUT THE ROLE
AssetOn is currently hiring an experienced Field Maintenance Planner for our mining client located in the Hunter Valley. The role involves maintaining and improving maintenance planning to maximise mobile fleet maintenance, specifically Excavators ensuring equipment availability and reliability. The position offers diverse analytical problem-solving responsibilities.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Support planning functionality focusing on the mobile equipment assets, specifically Excavators.
- Implementing maintenance techniques to ensure high safety, productivity, and reliability of equipment.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to manage lead times on parts.
- Prioritising work and effectively managing time.
- Playing an active role in forecasting costs for short to mid-term field work.
- Working with the Maintenance Execution Team and Reliability Engineer to develop plans.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal customers and key suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, OH&S standards, and site policies and procedures.
- 3+ years demonstrated maintenance planning and scheduling experience with a strong working knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of Heavy Mining Equipment on a mine site
- Mechanical trade or Engineering qualification
- Thorough understanding of preventative maintenance principals
- Demonstrated experience in safety systems and processes
- Full working rights in Australia
