About the Venue
Lana is one of our 1 hatted restaurants, where Executive Chef Alex Wong brings a combination of European / Asian cuisine with a touch of elegance and modernity. The venue is on level 1 of the heritage-listed Hinchliff House, upstairs from busy Italian restaurant Grana and 2 levels above the Sicilian drinking den Apollonia.
The venue is feminine and fun, with a pink marble bar and table tops, a DJ playing on the busy services, and a high end food and beverage offering. The team are experienced and passionate about guest experience and we delight in exceeding expectations for our guests.
About the Role
We are searching for a dynamic Senior Assistant Venue Manager to join the team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow their leadership skills and is confident in running restaurant operations and is one step away from taking on the top role of Venue Manager.
Some of your duties will include:
- Shift management & venue procedures
- Team communications
- Daily timesheet approvals
- Driving team incentives
- Cash ups and reporting
- OS&E par levels
- Menu & POS maintenance
- On-job performance coaching
- Handling guest complaints
- Ensuring high end guest experience.
