A food manufacturing company based in regional Victoria who are growing with a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and ensuring the utmost safety and quality of their products are looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator to join their Sydney based team.
About the role
As a Quality Coordinator you will report to the QA Manager and will play a pivotal role in the improvement and development of quality management systems. You will work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of quality production and service, while adhering to regulatory requirements and promoting continuous improvement in quality processes.
To be successful in this position, you will be required to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to meet the customer needs by elevating the Quality and Food Safety of the products.
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology
- Experience as a Quality Coordinator or similar within the food manufacturing industry (3-5 years)
- Ability to sensory check all foods including meats, gluten products and dairy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality issues
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure with limited supervision.
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to achieve results.
- Ability to be flexible as the business continues to transform and the role develops.
