About BaptistCare Shalom Centre

The home is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and a caring community. The courtyard café serves fresh, tasty meals and barista-fresh coffee, giving a cosmopolitan flair to the lifestyle here.

Shalom Centre aged care home offers quality care in a shared-accommodation setting that is accessible to everyone. All rooms are fitted with en-suite bathrooms and feature large windows that bring in plenty of natural light and overlook tranquil gardens.


About the role

You’ll be part of a team, empowering and supporting one another to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve. As Administration Officer/Receptionist, you are responsible for delivery of administrative functions for aged care services.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Must have at least 2 years Reception Experience preferably in Age Care
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • You are a team player, enjoy interacting with older people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have proven experience in office administration/clerical position
  • Great customer service with ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision

Permanent Part Time Opportunity- 2 days per week (Friday 8.30am- 4.30pm and Saturday 9.30am-4pm)
You may be required to work other days during the week
