About the role

This position is responsible for coordinating public facing programs of Parramatta Artists Studios as well as operational requirements of the studio facilities currently located in Rydalmere and Granville.

On a daily basis you will:

  • Develop, program and deliver public programs including workshops, activities, tours, talks and events based at PAS or in other locations.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners required to deliver public programs.
  • Identify and coordinate media, marketing and promotional opportunities for public programs. Coordinate the operation and maintenance of the PAS facilities.

About You

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Art, Museum Studies, Communications, Events Management or equivalent competencies.
  • Experience in a variety of settings such as galleries, museums, artists studios, visitor services, hospitality and venue management.
  • Experience in the planning and delivery of innovative public programs within an arts environment. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills.

What’s on offer

This is a permanent part-time position of 4 days per week (28hrs)

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $82,408.78 to $90,775.55 pro rata plus 11% superannuation.
