Our Client
With over 170 years’ experience they are one of Australia’s leading logistics and warehousing specialist services. They provide storage, handling, freight forwarding and inventory management services for import, export and domestic distribution.
They specialise in the agri-business, construction, renewable energy and retail / wholesale industry sectors.
The Opportunity
Due to an increase in business we have multiple positions available for experienced and capable Forklift Operators to work at our client’s warehouse.
These roles are for an immediate start and full time employment is a possibility.
Virtually the work will predominately be on the forklift with little manual handling. Experience using clamps is highly desirable as well as familiarity with operating a Linde Counterbalance Forklift.
Applicants with extensive forklift operation experience will also be considered.
To be considered for this role you will need :
- To be flexible with start finish times as early as 6 am or as late as 8pm
- Experience in a warehousing environment
- Must have valid forklift licence and the ability to operate a forklift in a safe & efficient manner
- Ability to fulfil the physical requirements of the role
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Must possess high attention to detail and excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
