The Department is Education is seeking a dynamic, culturally capable Senior Program Officer to join our organisation.

This interesting permanent full-time opportunity will see you working across the department and other government agencies to procure co-designed, evidence based First Nations attendance and engagement programs.

Your role will also see you supporting community engagement and co-design and managing and supporting the management of contracts with providers through effective contract and relationship management.

About The Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research, plan, implement, analyse and evaluate projects and programs.
  • Support the management of a suite of programs, including management of high-volume administration of claims, contract management and providing strong customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Perform data analytics and financial reporting, to ensure the strategic aims and objectives of the Government are achieved.
  • Provide advice on operational policies, programs and legislative issues relating to early childhood programs and services.
