The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst, to join our client on a 12-month labour-hire basis.
This role will be pivotal in the procurement and implementation of a Laboratory Management System (LIMS) and will involve developing a business case and value propositions for the LIMS solution. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will also be responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation.
The Role
As the Senior Business Analyst your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop business case and value propositions for LIMS solution, emphasising benefits and features
- Review existing business requirements documents, identify gaps
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine functional and technical requirements for LIMS
- Prepare procurement documentation, including RFQ, tender evaluation criteria, and negotiation strategies
- Create and maintain project documentation, such as business requirements, user stories, wireframes, and test plans
The ideal person for this role will have:
- 5+ years' experience as a business analyst or consultant in life sciences
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, biotechnology, or related field
- Proficiency in LIMS implementation, configuration, and validation
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, data standards, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
$115/hr – $135hr
