Job Description

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Precision Ag team in Roseworthy as a Machine Optimisation Specialist.

This truly diverse role would suit someone with a sound mechanical background and a real passion for technological advancements in Agriculture.

Taking full end to end responsibility from predelivery of machinery right through to the set up and full bespoke optimisation, you’ll work directly with the customer and across all our key departments to ensure the best possible solution and maximum economic and agronomic outcomes for our customer.

You’ll be excited about organising field and demonstrations events across your designated region to showcase the latest advancements in what John Deere Machinery can achieve.

What you’ll need:

  • Ability to build strong working relationships within the dealer and customer network
  • Knowledge of current agricultural production systems and trending practices
  • Mechanical background - agricultural background preferred
  • Knowledge of agricultural machinery operation and set-up
  • Knowledge of key customer account and business development practises
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Hands-on experience using precision technology and software
  • Exceptional communication skills
