Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* You will influence a place-based approach in your school and community by collaborating with key partners and across government agencies to deliver locally responsive and integrated strategies to school and community challenges.
* Your expertise in community engagement, coupled with your network of connections, will empower you to deliver transformative support that addresses attendance, engagement, and learning challenges, ultimately leading to improved educational outcomes for students.
* Your dedication to ensuring students attend, learn, and thrive will make the school location champions for their students, families, and the community. In your role, you will support at the school leader through the implementation of the system's Reading Commitment to ensure that all learners are developing the necessary skills to be literate, life-long learners.
* You may also organise school and community meetings, engaging with families and staff.
About You
* You are a strong communicator with great time management as sometimes you will need to work as a team and sometimes on your own.
* work closely with other agencies, community groups and parents
* use past experience in co-design approaches when working with the school and community
* likes using data (such as truancy or absentee) and use this to inform strategies
